Warner Robins First Assembly is a dynamic, spirit filled body of believers seeking to deliver the life-changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many as will receive it. First Assembly is a place of worship in which Jesus is Lord, our way to salvation; and God’s word is Truth, applicable to our everyday lives.

Warner Robins First Assembly of God began as a group of believers participating in tent meetings in a location near Duke Street (near the

intersection of Davis Drive and Green Street) in Warner Robins, Georgia in about 1950.

In 1951, a young pastor named Earl Stuckey relocated to Warner Robins and began organizing the group of believers into a church. The group purchased property at 295 Davis Drive, which is only a short distance from the same location as the prior tent meetings. The congregation of First Assembly built a concrete block facility that is now known as Christian Hope Congregational Holiness Church. Pastors Henry Price,

H. F. Freeman and Chuck Morris succeeded Pastor Stuckey in leadership.

First Assembly grew in attendance and membership, and purchased property for the construction of a new facility at 1602 Elberta Road in 1968. Growth at this location required the construction of a gymnasium, completion

of additional classroom space and the expansion of the church’s sanctuary. This location was pastored by Pastors Chuck Morris, Charles Rutledge, John Kilpatrick; and since November 1979, by Glynn Grantham. Growth has continued in First Assembly as additional people have come into the saving grace of Jesus as savior and the understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Growth in attendance to weekly worship caused the First congregation to begin holding Sunday morning services in the gymnasium in 1998, as service attendance exceeded the capacity of the traditional sanctuary, despite its enlargement. The congregation of First Assembly voted in 1995 to purchase 30 acres of property on 247 Connector with the intentions of building a new church upon one of Warner Robins’ most attractive pieces of real estate.

On May 28, 2000, First Assembly of God met for the first time in its current 30,000 square foot location with approximately 750 people in attendance. Since that time, the First Assembly campus has added a pavilion, a softball field and additional classroom space in the attic area. A daycare providing excellent care for 102 children daily operates within the “new” building’s west wing.

First Assembly of God remains at the 247 Connector (Watson Boulevard) location today, where it offers compelling praise and worship services, timely Bible based preaching messages and specialized ministries for ultimately every age group and interest. Pastor Glynn Grantham and his wife Mary continue to serve the pastorate at First
