Mark Merrill has served as Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God since August of 2008. An ordained minister, Pastor Merrill is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Ministries. Pastor Merrill has served in full-time ministry since 1994 as a Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor. He has been married to his wife, Gretchen, since 1992, and they have two children: a daughter, Regan and a son, Hayden. | ||

Richard Azbell, Executive Pastor, came to First Assembly as a "first time visitor" in 1999. Richard describes that the conviction of the Holy Spirit produced radical change in his life in that visit. After occupying several voluntary leadership positions, Richard joined the staff at First Assembly as Church Administrator in 2005. | ||

Pastor Gabe Cox has served faithfully as student pastor from 2009 through 2011. At the beginning of 2012, he was promoted to Executive Pastor of Ministries. Pastor Gabe graduated Southeastern University in Pastoral Ministries. He is married to his wife Jessica and has three incredible kids, Addie Kate, Owen, and Eli | ||

Shaun Parsons joined the team of First Assembly of God in May of 2011. A graduate from Valdosta State University with a B.A. in Music Education, Pastor Shaun taught 6 years in the public education system as band/choir director. With a passion to see God use people, he pursued his credentials through the Georgia School of Ministry where he was ordained in 2008. With his wife of 16 years, Shaun and Kristi lead First Assembly in worship with a desire to Experience God’s presence in true authenticity. Shaun is blessed with three incredible children: Tyler, Hunter and Annlei. | ||

Etah Garcia is First Assembly's Pastor of Senior Adult Ministries. Etah is committed to allowing Seniors to discover their spiritual gifts and to remain active in the church through use of those gifts, stating, "God still has great use for your gifts and talents in His Kingdom." | ||

Jason McCoy has served as the Children’s Pastor at First Assembly of God since September 2011. Pastor Jason graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University in 2001 with a B.S. in Church Ministries. He has been a full time Children’s Pastor since 2003. He married Melissa, also a graduate of SAGU, in May 2004. They have three awesome kids: Ella(6), Hudson (4), and Penelope(1 ½). Pastor Jason’s favorite things include: making stop motion animation videos, reading, playing video games and chasing Ella, Hudson, Penelope (and sometimes Melissa) around the house. Jason often describes himself as a 'big kid', which is one of the reasons he loves ministering to children! | ||
 | Stephen Bailey began serving as the Student Ministries Pastor of First Assembly of God in January of 2012. A licensed minister, Pastor Stephen is a graduate of Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Practical Theology. Called into ministry at twelve years old, Pastor Stephen is passionate about reaching students for Christ and is committed to youth evangelism and discipleship. |
